Steve Rupe lives in Nashville, Tennessee. Steve is a singer, musician, and songwriter. He also owns Bear Hair Music publishing company.
Steve co-wrote numerous songs with the late Peter Thorpe, who performed under the stage name Nashville Fats. Early in 2002 the music world lost three very talented men - Waylon Jennings, Harlon Howard, and Peter Thorpe. Steve wrote a musical tribute to these men titled Waylon, Harlon, & Nashville Fats. The song is featured on the CD Blue Train.
Steve serves on the Peter Thorpe Memorial Fund as the Nashville Coordinator.
